When users select a favorable trip they can install a price-alert that updates them on price changes. The app gives you the possibility to install what they call: “A price watch”. Price-alert: Users were also not able to locate the price alert function in Hopper. Hopper displays multiple notifications and pop-ups while you are using the app. Unprofessional feel and lay-out (pop-ups, notifications, illustrations): Even though these users were concerned about the price of their flight, they all thought this app was looking a bit unprofessional. Users got distracted and started pressing on different buttons that were not part of the challenge. Booking a ticket and finding the details took too many steps. This became prevalent from the challenges they conducted. There were 3 general painpoints of these users concerning booking the trip through Hopper and looking for the most affordable price.Ĭhaotic design: Every user mentioned that the design of Hopper was chaotic and that there was too much information presented.
